Local scenes were commonly photographed and sold on picture postcards in the early 1900's. Several of these recorded the progress of construction on our church building. Parishioner Alice Dolezal's father, Charles Lucas, was living in the Philippine Islands at Santa Cruz, Lagunta at that time. His family and friends kept him up to date with local news by sending him such postcards. He saved them and the photographs survive to this day. Following the links below to view the pictures.
